Public Transit & Highways

With its central Front and Spadina location, The Well is essentially a gateway to King West, and Spadina, both with established connections to public transportation, two airports, trains and more. Drivers can take Spadina Avenue down to the Lakeshore or jump on the Gardiner in a few minutes. Public transit option abound in this busy area.

Frequent streetcars run north-south along Spadina Avenue and east-west along King Street. Jump on the TTC’s Line 1 Subway at St. Andrew station. Or take the Spadina streetcar north to Spadina and connect with the Line 2 Subway .

Union Station, Toronto’s central transportation hub with connections to the TTC subway, GO Transit trains and buses, UP Express, and VIA is close by. What’s more, a planned GO Transit expansion places Spadina–Front GO Station, a stop on the Regional Express Railway just steps from The Well.

Catching a flight is a breeze with easy access to two airports. Take the UP Express at Union Station and arrive at Pearson Airport within 25 minutes. Bishop Airport is a short drive away and provides further domestic and international flight connections.

Future Development & Profitability

With its rich history and identity as a centre for arts, culture, fashion and entertainment, King West is evolving into a higher-end neighbourhood.
